Symbicort 360 Turbuhalar Inhalation

SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER contains Budesonide and Formoterol, which belong to the group of medicines called Inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta-adrenergic agonists, respectively. It is used in the treatment of both controlled and uncontrolled asthma (a respiratory disease in which airways get narrower, swell, and produce extra mucus with symptoms of wheezing, coughing, etc.) in adults and children over 12 years old.
SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER is also used in adults for symptomatic treatment of flare-ups in patients with severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD- blockage and breathing-related problems associated with symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, breathing difficulties, etc.). Before using SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER, your doctor will advise you to perform certain respiratory tests to assess the severity of the respiratory disorder and the flow in the lungs.
SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER is not recommended for use by patients allergic to budesonide and formoterol. Before using SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER, inform your doctor if you have any heart diseases, liver diseases, diabetes, thyroid diseases, phaeochromocytoma (tumour of the adrenal gland), low levels of potassium in the blood that are not treated, increased blood pressure, or an aneurysm (an abnormal bulge in the wall of a blood vessel).
SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless it is clearly necessary. SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Common side effects of using SYMBICORT 320/9MCG TURBUHALER include palpitations (faster heartbeat), fungal (Candida) infections in the mouth and throat, headache, tremors, mild irritation in the throat, coughing, and hoarseness. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms are worsening.
